Meet Fig!
Fig was found as a puppy in Texas…alongside his siblings. He has grown into a playful, goofy boy with a signature bouncy prance that’ll make your heart melt.
When Fig is happy and relaxed, it’s pure joy—he’s like a little cartoon dog brought to life. But Fig’s journey hasn’t been the smoothest. The world can still feel big and overwhelming to him, and he’s learning how to navigate it. He can be unsure in unfamiliar situations and sometimes lets fear make decisions for him. He keeps an eye on everything around him—part curiosity, part nervousness.
Without structure, he can get distracted and uncertain. Fig is currently in training and thriving! He’s smart, learns fast, and needs a life with structure, guidance, and purpose. This is a dog who does best with a “job”—small tasks throughout the day to help him feel safe, engaged, and proud of himself. Anyone who adopts Fig will need to be committed to continuing his training.
He’s not a blank slate, but he is a bright, eager pup ready to learn and bond deeply with someone who sees his potential. If you’re looking for a dog who’s as charming as he is complex—and you're ready to be the steady hand he can count on—Fig might be your guy.

In 2019, I brought home my first foster and since then I have gained experience fostering cats, kittens, puppies, and dogs. In 2022, I shifted to focusing exclusively on fostering dogs. My passion is with fostering dogs with behavioral needs.
I offer a rescue discount for assessments, board & trains, and structured boarding among other training services.
*I do not foster or board dogs under the age of 8 months old or dogs with extensive medical needs.
