Day Trains
Accepting Day Trains starting in June 2026!

Day trains are perfect for dogs who would benefit from additional individualized support with a dog trainer, whose owners have busy schedules and can’t always fit in that extra training session, or for owners who just want their dog to receive additional fulfillment and engagement during the day.
Day Trains are for dogs 8 months and older.

Typical behaviors that can be worked on in a day train may include:
leash walking
basic obedience
public manners
leash reactivity
recall
confidence building

An initial private lesson is required prior to starting day trains. This ensures that your dog will be a good fit and that we agree on the specific training goals.
After the private lesson is complete:
We decide on a schedule
I pick your dog up from your home
I take your dog on a field trip to work on the specific training goals
I drop your dog off back at your house
Day trains work best when paired with private lessons. For there to be a consistent change in your dog’s behavior, you as the human also need to understand the training and change your behavior.
I recommend 1 private lesson for every 4 day train lessons.

Required initial assessment: $110 for 75 minutes
Single day train session: $125
Include pick up, 60 minute training session & drop off
Day train packages: 4 sessions: $450
*A fee will apply for travel outside of a 20 min or 10 mile radius from my home in Poulsbo

Full amount is due at the time of purchase. All purchases are non-refundable.
24 hour notice is required for cancellations otherwise it will count towards a session.
Up to two reschedules allowed otherwise it will count as a session.
